Course details

Through this skill set, you’ll learn the skills and knowledge to start working in the rewarding role of caring for people, enabling their overall independence.

10 days of classroom training will cover three Units of Competency and you will experience a blend of theory and practical learning to help get you work ready.

Student requirements

  • The minimum age requirement is 18 years and you must also be working less than 20 hours per week.
  • AU/NZ citizen, permanent resident or holder of an eligible VISA. Visit our FAQ’s for more information.

After the course

This skill set provides a direct pathway into the care sector and can serve as a stepping stone for further studies and professional development within the sector. Two units completed in the skill set can be credit transferred towards CHC33021 Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) – Job Seeker
