The WA Government has announced that masks must be worn at all public indoor settings in the Perth and Peel regions from 6pm Thursday 23 December 2021 until 6am Tuesday 28 December 2021. Read the news story on the WA Government website.
This decision follows the detection of a case of COVID-19 in the Perth community.
If circumstances change and further restrictions are announced by the WA Government, we will communicate changes to you as soon as possible.
As always, our priority is the safety and wellbeing of our customers and staff.
Mask mandate in the Perth metro and Peel regions
To comply with the current guidelines from the WA Government, we have made the following decisions:
- All Activ staff, including supported employees are required to wear masks at their place of work
- Activ customers are required to wear masks at Activ’s community hubs
- All visitors to any Activ site are required to wear masks
These changes will come into effect at 6pm Thursday 23 December 2021 and will last for the duration of the mask mandate.
People travelling to other regions from the Perth and Peel regions
Anyone who has been in the Perth and Peel regions since 16 December and has entered another regional area will also be required to adhere to the mask mandate.
COVID-19 testing
If you have been at any of these locations at the dates and times specified, you must attend a COVID clinic for testing and follow the relevant advice for that site.
